Fanart Friday: "Summer Years", DCFC

I was listening to Death Cab’s Thank You For Today the other day and remembered that I drew this comic a couple years ago. 🎶 (TYFT is still one of my favorite albums.) (Also I miss the Royal Armouries in Leeds, where I believe the first panel is located! Either that or Hamburg. Which I also miss.)

TV Habits

A four-panel black and white comic with the title "Various TV-Watching Habits of Mine". Each panel depicts Claire with short hair, a black T-shirt and jeans sitting in an easy chair and watching TV on a laptop sitting on their bed. First panel: the caption says "Guessing dialogue." Dialogue coming from the laptop says "I thought about what you'd said..." Claire interjects "...so I called her." Dialogue coming from the laptop says "...So I called her." Second panel: caption says "Reacting. Claire laughs: Huh-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAA" Third panel: caption says "Guessing plot points". Claire points at the laptop and says "Called it. Knew it. Called that too." Fourth panel: caption says "Reacting", again. Claire sits up gripping her face, eyes wide, yelling "NOOOOOO NO NO NO NO NO NOOO". A tiny thought bubble coming out of the laptop says "OMG".
Writer brain never rests, even and especially not when it's watching TV.

It's warm and sunny in Berlin! Happy weekend, everybody.

Proposals

I was going to post this last week, then I got sidetracked by current events.

The wedding was all kinds of awesome! Now my friends, they are married. Crazy! And there was chicken for breakfast on Sunday. What a world!

I'm off to Stockholm tomorrow! See you when I get back.

 STICKERS!!!
There are currently stickers in my store! And until Feb. 1, they only cost 1.99€ + shipping! Great for decorating your laptop with an expression of young urban cartoonist angst. Grab'em while they're physically manifest!

Weekend Woohoo: Clyde the Turtle

As I've mentioned before, I started watching CBS' adaptation of the Sherlock Holmes stories, Elementary, a few months ago. I happen to like it very much and made some fanart of one of the show's staples, a turtle named Clyde that Sherlock adopts midway through the season. It got a big reception on Tumblr this week (does this mean I can stay in 5-star hotels now) and I like the way it turned out, so -- obscure television references notwithstanding, please have some turtle drawings.

Also, after many months of secretive tweeting, gramming and tumbling the Secret Project is finally going live this Tuesday. Stay tuned! And have a great weekend.

Deduce THIS

I've been proverbially under the weather (I believe I said something about "2013" and "kicking butt"?), so here is a Sherlock comic I drew last spring. I dedicate it to the new fans who have recently discovered it and justifiably gone looney tunes. (Pot, kettle, black, yep.)
Je récupère d'une sale grippe bien méchante (je crois me souvenir avoir dit que 2013 allait déchirer), alors spéciale casse-dédi pour les nouveaux fans de Sherlock avec un strip dessiné au printemps dernier.
